The objective of this course is to provide students with methods of reading acts and legislation, interpretation skills and to demonstrate its application in practice.

- Develop knowledge and understanding of substantive and procedural law
- Able to undertake locate and use basic paper and electronic reference sources and be able to perform legal research
- Develop the ability to write a competent legal analysis
